As you know if you've listened to our show before, the nature of anime and Japanese animation is constantly changing nowadays. As a sort of jumping-off point for discussing that, we briefly discuss Porter Robinson's Shelter video with A-1 Pictures before jumping into a lengthy discussion about what anime means to us, how international making anime has actually become, and what we can expect to see in the future. It's the first new video in a series called "Couch Conversation" where we sit down on the couch and discuss different meta or controversial issues surrounding the anime industry. Let us know what you think! What does anime mean to you? Where do you see all this going? How has that definition changed over the years? Leave a comment on the video or right here and let us know.
